    • Change Your Habits

    A slight change in your lazy habits is the best natural way to get rid of pests. Throwing the garbage in trash cans and keeping these cans locked with tight lids, and discouraging food litters can help in keeping most of the pests away from home. Arranging your stuff daily and de-cluttering your house every month will help you to discourage pest dwellings. Also vacuum your house every week.

    • Grow Pest-Resistant Plants

    If you have a garden or balcony and you love plants, try to buy ones that act as insect or pest repellant. Neem or Azadirachta indica plant, peppermint plant, basil, lavender and rosemary are few effective ones in dealing with pests. These plants do not allow any insect to feed on them. They are also used as herbal medicines to treat any insect bite. 

    • Seal All The Cracks and Holes

    Do not laze around or procrastinate work if you see crevices or holes on the roof, in the walls or on the ground. These are the places from where pests enter or dwell. Quickly seal all of them the moment these are noticed. Any delay can lead to pest infestation within no time. You will then need to rely on chemicals to get rid of them.

    • Use Traps and Release Pests

    You may not be a person who believes in killing pests. However, certain stubborn pests do not run away despite using many tricks. They need permutation and combination of certain methods to distract them, trap them in a cage and then release them out at a far distance. There are certain traps for rodents, squirrels and raccoons that can help you keep these pests away from your house.
